Thanks for
the Creamed Spinach recipe. It was
delicious.
Your
Creamed Spinach recipe is absolutely to die for.
I love creamed spinach and especially fond of
Boston Markets. I recently found one that is
better. It's at the "Golden Corral".
But, don't go hunting it down because yours is
better tahn any I've ever tasted. I'll be cooking
at home more now.
Love it,
love it. I'm 1 of those strange people that love
spinach, raw or cooked.
I made the
Creamed Spinach. It was delicious. I added a
little more salt and a pinch of pepper. And one
half teaspoon of sugar. A restaurant in our area
makes it and adds jalapeno peppers to it. I tried
adding the peppers the next time I made it and it
as even better
Thanks it
will become a regular in my house.
Hi...I
made the spinach, it was great
My kids
loved it! They were convinced it was the
real thing.
This
recipe was great. Thanks I have been looking for
this recipe for ever.
My
sister-in-law prepared this recipe as one of her
Thanksgiving side dishes and it was absolutely
delicious. I will now add this to my recipe file
also and share it with other spinach lovers!
I really
enjoyed your Creamed Spinach Recipe, I did
however, increase the salt to 1/2 tsp. Thank you,
I would have never been able to figure out the
recipe on my own.
I have
been trying and trying to find a spinach recipe
that was to die for and to my delight I found
your site. I make this once a week for the family
and I even have used this same recipe for other
veggies that needed a little twist.
Absolutely
the best veggie dish I've ever made! My
picky-eating kids even loved it. Thanks so much.
Absolutely
the best creamed spinach recipe out there.
My husband couldn't get enough of it! Thank you!
Fabulous -
the Boston Markets Creamed Spinach doesn't come
close - tried a box and all we could taste was
garlic - awful - thanx so much
I just
made your creamed spinach with powdered milk
instead of cream and it's wonderful. Best ever!
Thanks for a great recipe.
Perfecto>
taste even fresher than theirs! must try!
This stuff
is great and really easy to make too!
I just
wanted to let you know that I tried your
recipe...I switched it up just little (I have a
habit of doing that) and it turned out to be the
BEST creamed spinach my family and I have ever
had!!! Thanks for getting me on the right track!
Awesome!!!
My family loves it
I prepared
this recipe a few months ago & it was a great
hit - I am planning to serve it at my
Thanksgiving dinner. It's a keeper!!!
This
recipe was great for a dinner party...thanks
I would
like to thank you for this recipe. I made it
yesterday for my family and they loved it! My
husband especially because he likes Boston
Market's. He likes your recipe better.
I modified
your recipe for lactose intolerance. I replaced
the whipping cream with soymilk, used a cream
cheese substitute, and eliminated the Parmesan
cheese (the butter I kept). It was delicious.
Thank you.
I made the Creamed
Spinach a couple weeks ago and to my surprise, and my husbands we
could not tell the difference between Boston Market's and this
reciepe. Delicious!!! Thank you.
tried the recipe and
liked it very much. We have improvised on a great recipe and made it
to our own tastes. We really like the creamed spinach at Boston
Market and find that this recipe is as good if not better than the
original!
Fantastic! This was
easier to make than it looks and it was a HUGE hit!!!
I used fat free half &
half, and added some fresh garlic and the result was very tasty. My
22 month old toddler even gobbled it up! Thanks for the great
recipe.
This was a big hit with
my friends. I just added 1/2 a can of Cream of Celery condendsed
soup.
Amazing! Tastey! Simple
enough for a 17 year-old boy like me to make :)
I was searching the
internet for a creamed spinach recipe for my 19 month old twin girls
and came across your site. It has become my new favorite website!
The creamed spinach was delicious! I didn’t have any half and half,
so I used evaporated milk. I also added a handful of mozzarella
cheese. The girls cried when I cleared their plates- they wanted
more!!! God Bless you for getting my kids to eat spinach!
Excellent recipe. Way
worth the time. I added a little more salt and pepper though. My
kids even loved it
so terrific! I added 1
tbls. BACON GREASE just for fun. this is great hot or cold. Very
tasty as a dip with crisp lavosh. thanks!
I am from Australia and
when I saw creamed spinach I though "oh yuck....not in a million
years!!! But I made it anyway as my husband wanted spinach...and to
my surprise it was the most wonderful vegetable recipe I have ever
tasted. I have made it twice this week....the only thing I did
different was I put the creamed spinach into puff pastry and made it
into a pie. I also added some of my homemade chilli to it . I will
be making this recipe once a week through the winter. Absolutely the
best. I would rather have an extra serving of this and not bother
with dessert (sweets) I am checking out heaps of other recipes on
your site here as well.....haven't yet made any of the others as I
just can't get past the creamed spinach yet lol.
This was scrumptuous! I
tripled the recipe to make enough for eight people. To reduce
calories I replaced the cream with water for the roux and just added
a few extra tablespoons of light cream cheese. Instead of butter-sauteing
the spinach, I squeezed it dry and mixed in a little onion powder,
cumin, and garlic. It was loved by all, and no one left without
first asking for the recipe, so thank you! I also had about a 1/2
cup of the spinach leftover and used that to make a
spinach/artichoke dip simmering together 1/3 cup water, four slices
"Naturally Light" Land o' Lakes Jalepeno cheese and 1 small jar
drained artichoke hearts. Ate this with toasted pita chips and
veggies. Yum!
we made it last night and
it is even better than boston market. I will admit i added a little
extra cheese, but onlt a bit. we will do this side with christmas
dinner from now on. GREAT!!!!
I had some creamed
spinach in Louisille, KY (of all places) which was
exceptional...when I got back to toronto, I found your recipe - was
even better than Louiville!
i tried it with fresh
spinach instead of frozen...yum
Yummy. My 10 year old has
loved creamed spinach since she was a baby and her brother worked at
Boston Market. We've tried different recipes over the years, but
this was the easiest and it turned out great. I will use more onions
next time because we all love the flavor of onions with our veggies.
i tried this recipe in
august, it was fantastic, just like boston market. i lost the recipe
and searched the internet until i found it, i will never loss it
aqain.
I have made this recipe
numerous times. I am on a low carb diet and I substitute 3tbs of
cornstarch for the 1/4 cup of flour. This recipe is GREAT! and best
of all my kids love it. Better than Boston market if you tweak it to
taste. Thank you, thank you, thank you
I dont know what you guys
are talking about... but it's great!
Delish! I have made the
recipe as written, and also made it with light versions of the cream
cheese and half-and-half. They were both very good. Very rich and
creamy
I used this recipe for
creamed spinach and not only was it a hit at home but my husband
told a few of his co-workers that I had made creamed spinach that
tastes as good as Boston Market. They were skeptical at first but I
made some and he took it to work with him and made them believers
just made it double sized
for thanksgiving... used 1 cup half and half and then one cup whole
milk and lowfat creamcheese...also used 3 bags raw leaf spinach and
1 frozen spinach... turned out great! I was nervous when they asked
me to do the creamed spinach becasue i had never made it, but my
familiy loved it!
its sooo good. tastes
like a Boston Market made it for me!Thanks!
I reluctantly tried
Boston Market's Cream Spinach for the first time a few weeks ago,
and loved it. I vowed that I was going to find the recipe and try it
for Thanksgiving. I JUST finished cooking this recipe, and WOWWWW!
It tastes great. The nutmeg sets the whole dish off. THANX!
It Tastes Compleatly And
Horribly GROSE!!!
I used three pound of
fresh spinach and it worked well too. Chop it up and saute it in
butter and garlic first, then add to this recipe. I think it is
still missing tat certain special thing that makes boston Market
reamed spinach so d-liscious, but still worth a try...
I've never had Boston
Market creamed spinach, but this recipe is awesome!
Perfect. It was easy to
make and finally, my kids will eat their spinach. I precooked the
frozen spinach in the microwave before moving it into the pan, about
6 minutes in the microwave (while making the cream mixture). I
cooked the spinach and cream mixture together for about 10 minutes.
Loved that the flavors blended together so fast. This was a 30
minute side dish from packages to table. Thanks.
Omg...the cream spinach
recipe was right on key. Thank you so much my family enjoyed it alot.
This will be a new addition to Thanksgiving dinner :)
MMMM thank you I could
eat this everyday.. After ready what goes in it.. Every other day
Thank you. Great recipe.
GREAT RECIPE ... VERY
EASY AND DELICIOUS!!!
Well I decided to try
this last night, though I deviated a bit at making the white
sauce... I actually used a couple pieces of bacon for the fat in it,
instead of just butter. I also roasted some garlic while I got
things together, and added some capers as well. Luckily I have
leftovers, I almost wanna eat them for breakfast!!
I LOVE THIS!!! AND IT'S
SO EASY TO MAKE!!! I HAD CREAMED SPINACH AT SHULA'S IN NEW ORLEANS,
I'VE WANTED MORE SINCE THEN, I DID A SEARCH AND FOUND YOUR RECIPE.
NOTHING CAN BEAT THIS, IT'S WONDERFUL!!!! I OMITTED THE NUTMEG, ONLY
HAD 1/2 TSP OF MINCED FRESH GARLIC, AND ADDED MORE SALT & PEPPER.
YOU'RE GREAT!!!! THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR RECIPES, I'LL BE SURE TO
SAVE THIS SITE FOR FUTURE RECIPES.
I just used this recipe
for our fathers day tradition of Creamed Spinach (one one my
husbands favorite dishes) and it was the best ever!!
Loved the recipe,
prepared as listed without changes. Even my EIGHT year old nephew
tried the creamed spinach and loved it. He even had a second helping
to boot. It will definately be a family favorite. Thanks for sharing
your recipe.
I've used this method of
making creamed spinach for years. I usually just use whole milk
instead of the cream, and put drops of tobasco sauce in to taste. I
don't know if anyone notices, but Boston Market's creamed spinach
has a bit of spice to it.
Made creamed spinach for
dinner tonight. Very, very good. Will prepare again and again.
Thanks
fantastic!! my guests
loved your creamed spinach recipe 10/10 - thanks
One of the best recipes I
have found on the web! My wife and daugther will eat an entire batch
right off the stove.
This is the best creamed
spinach recipe! We have eaten this at several high-end restaurants
and never tasted better than this that we made at home.
I just tried it and it
turned out delicious, never enjoyed eating spinach as much as I did
today, surprised myself. Great recipe!!
My husband told me one
day about spinach that he had eat and it was creamy well i set out
to find a recipe. I found this and he loved it and so do I. Thanks
to that good recipe i now have your cook book and we cook from it
quite often. Thanks for making me make my husband happy!
This was my first time
making creamed spinach...your recipe was delicious...I used heavy
cream...can't wait to make this agoin when I have company...Thanks
This is the best creamed
spinach I've ever had. Of course I replaced the parmisean cheese
with asiago cheese. But this recipe is the best!
This recipe for creamed
spinach was wonderful. Once I tasted the finished product, it was as
if I had gone to a 5 star restaurant.
this is great! will make
again definitely! highly recommended! altho, i added a bit more
salt. 1/4 tsp is just not enough.
I LOVE Boston Market's
Creamed Spinach. Now, I don't do a lot of cooking, but when we were
putting together our Thanksgiving menu, it occurred to me that if
Boston Market can make it, there must be a recipe out there
somewhere! So I Googled Creamed Spinach and your wonderful website
came up. I made it & it was a GREAT hit! Now we're going to have it
for Christmas, too, and it may become a family tradition! Thank you!
The very best recipe I
ever tasted. My husband didn't like spinach until he tried this
recipe. Now he asks for it at least once a week. Thank you for a
wonderful and tasty recipe we will enjoy for years to come.
This is absolutely
delicious. Even added a little of my own touches, but my husband
loved it. As I do.
yummy! i am taking this
over to my family's so they can share in enjoying it!
Absolutely delicious! Its
about as close to the Boston Market stuff as you can get! I had no
nutmeg, so I used a pinch of cinnamon, and added more salt. I will
be making this one again!!! Thanks!!
I made this with
blackened ahi tuna on top. It is absolutely too die for!
Oh My Goodness....This
tastes just like Boston Market's....Anyone who is a spinach lover
like me knows that Boston Market's creamed spinach is
AMAZING....LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!
I generally don't eat
creamed spinach, but this recipe made me a "convert". I put in a
little bit more than a 1/4 cup of parmesan (more like a 1/3 cup) the
second time I made it. Both recipes are yummy!
OMG, I luff it. Which is
saying something, since I'm 12. xD
I absolutely love this
receipe! One of the best, what a hit for everyone. My husband is
requesting it again tonight, oh well, what the heck it is fabulous!
The only alternation I did, was add in some tobasco sauce for a
little extra flavor!
Hi I first tried this
boston market spinach in Sydney Australia, and got the guy to tell me
the recipe and wrote it on a napkin, made it at home, wonderful. So
pleased to get it again on here.Lost the first one.
This was the best recipe
for cream spinach my family has tried. It was better than applebees
and cheaper! We loved it by itself and as a dip with tortilla chips.
It was absolutely heavenly:)
Mmmmmmmm, soooooo
good!!!! I LOVE IT. I thought the comments could have been a fake,
I'm sorry 4 that but once I tasted the creamed spinach I knew they
were all real. This is such a tasty recipe. The cream base is so
good I am goin to use it to make other recipes. Thank-U 4 ur
webpage. I will be checking out the other recipes.
I LOVE THE SPINACH &
ARTICHOKE DIP YOU GET AS AN APPETIZER OUT AT RESTAURANTS AND HAVE
TRIED TO MAKE IT AT HOME BUT IT WAS NEVER AS GOOD. I USED THIS
RECIPE AND DOUBLED THE AMOUNT OF CREAM CHEESE AND ADDED A CAN OF
ARTICHOKE HEARTS THAT I CUT INTO SMALL PIECES. IT WAS EQUAL TO OR
BETTER THAN ANY RESTAURANT VERSION. I'VE SHARED IT WITH ALL MY
FRIENDS.
It was delicious! I cut
the 1/2 and 1/2 and the cream cheese amounts in half and it was
still creamy. I just added a few drops of hot sauce to it to zip up
the flavor.
wow!!! The best creamed
spinach ever!! thanks so much ;)
A delicious recipe...I
doubled the salt and liked it even more. I tried a little Frank's
Red Hot to make it a little spicy but not lose the great flavor!
THIS RECIPE FOR CREAMED
SPINACH IS GREAT!! YUM YUM YUM! EVERYONE LOVED IT.
This came out wonderful.
Now I don't have to worry anymore if there is a Boston Market in the
area, I can make it myself!
Served this with
Thanksgiving dinner and everyone loved it! I forgot to fold in the
parmesan cheese at the end and it was still fantastic. This one is a
keeper. Thanks!
Its delicious. It can use
a bit more salt.
I needed a recipe for
Thanksgiving. This was perfect. I added a little more nutmeg and a
little more onions. Really easy, too!
This is absolutely
amazing! It is in very high demand at all of my family functions and
will remain my secret recipe.
WOW! Sooooo GOOOD!!!!
Thank you! I used 2 parts soymilk (sweetened, and not vanilla!) and
1 part soy creamer instead of half and half (lower fat and adds that
faint sweetness I like in creamed spinach), doubled the salt but
used unsalted butter, used light whipped cream cheese, and used
crushed prepared garlic (for a tiny bit more sweetness) and red
onion. This is the best creamed spinach I've ever had. Thank you,
thank you, thank you!!!
Wow! I wanted a great
recipe and this is IT! My guests and husband couldn't stop raving
about this dish; sooo yummy and creamy and flavorful! Even good
the next day.
Thanks so much!
This was the best
creamed spinach I have ever ate. Couldnt get enough

This recipe is
FANTASTIC!!!!! I was very impressed!
This recipe was pure
AMAZING. I made it last night for dinner, and my family loved it!
(Especially my very picky eating kids.) Thanks so much!
This was great!!! I was
very worried about using frozen spinach, but the outcome was
fantastic. Very rich and delicious, a great side dish with grilled
steaks. Would definitely make again. Instead of mixing in the
parmesan, I sprinkled it over the top and then put the lid on for
a few minutes to melt it.
This recipe is great...
I added some freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese and some cajun
spices and perfecto!!!! mmmm good
Unbelieveably
delicious!! Made it as a side dish for Thanksgiving and everyone
was raving about it and begging me for the recipe...=) Thank you!!
Okay this recipe was
awesome. The kids love it!!!! All I did was add a lil more
parmesan, salt and 6oz of cream cheese instead of 4. Loved it
WOW!!! Thank you for
posting this. I am a novice cook and made this for Thanksgiving
09'. my family LOVED IT!!! It was fun and easy to make! Not to
mention delicious to eat!!
This was the absolute
best recipe ever. I was in love with Boston Market's creamed
spinach--now I'm more in love with my own. Thank you, thank you,
thank you!!!
Oh my gosh...I had
never made cream spinach before...but last night I was hosting a
dinner for my boyfriend and his boss and work colleagues...I
googled for a recipe and came across this one. It was a HUGE HUGE
hit...I can't tell you how much everyone raved about it. Thanks so
much!!
This was amazing! Next
time I'll add some white pepper to the sauce. Thanks!
I was nervous making
this because I thought there was no way it would taste like Boston
Market's. Boy, was I wrong. It is delicious. Thank you
sooooooooooooo much. One of the best things I've made and I make
alot of good things. Thanks so much.
WOW when i moved to my
new house i was devistated to find no boston market within 50
miles..my FAVE item was the spinach. WELL i came upon your recipe
and made it.
Thank you SO MUCH it
was the best thing since turkey legs at the fair. i added a little
more salt and more paremsean. AMAZING...funny how much joy a good
meal can bring :)
One word...AMAZZZZZZING....my
aunt gave me some spinach when she was moving out of her home and
so i looked up recipes...this is sooo good...literally, i just
finished the dish and tasted it and now i understand what all of
theese reviews were talkin about so i had to leave a comment! LOVE
IT!!!!!
Wonderful recipe! I
have to admit that I am not much of a cooker and I was nervous
when I saw the consistency of the cream before adding the hot
spinach and garlic and such. But it worked out so well! Thanks so
much! I am on my way home to eat my leftovers from last night! God
bless you!
this recipe is so
awesome.. i love it!!
I love this spinach,
it"s the best ever
It's absolutely
delicious. An A+, keep for always, hand down to the kids recipe.
Thanks so much for sharing
Made this recipe
tonight but used 2% milk instead of half and half. It was
delicious!
Was my first time ever
making Creamed spinich.. I made it for my wife for mother's day!!
It was also my first time eating it.. she loved it and so did I!!
Delicious!! Thanks
I made if for a senior
group at the church. It was the hit of the day. Several asked for
copies of the recipe.
This was THE BEST
CREAMED SPINACH IN THE WORLD!! EASILY TOPS THE LOCAL HIGH END
STEAK HOUSE! THANK YOU ROBBIE!
If you liked the
recipe, try frying chopped bacon till it's crisp, and add it to
the spinach and cream mixture. If you're a bacon lover, it will
make this the best spinach dish you've ever had.
This is an awesome
recipe, the best creamed spinach I've ever made. Highly recommend
this recipe
The creamed spinach was
really good. I subsituted (whole) milk for the cream for a
healthier version....it came out just fine & with less fat.
this recipe is
DELIGHTFUL! Absolutely YUMMY and very easy to make. Thank you SO
very much. I served on individual edible pastry bowls ( you just
take premade pasty sheets, grease a ramakin and put them inside
making a bowl shape and cutting around the edges, then just pop in
oven) This recipe is the best!
I just made the creamed
spinach from your recipe. I didn't have any half and half so I
used some sour cream with the cream cheese and when it thickened
more than I wanted I added some skim milk. I also used a touch
more nutmeg. I've been looking for a good creamed spinach recipe
for so long! Thank you
AWESOME RECIPE, WE
FOUND IT MORE FLAVORFUL THAN BOSTON MARKETS. THE NUTMEG WAS ADDED
NEAR THE END, WHICH I THINK GAVE IT A SLIGHT BOOST IN FLAVOR!!
THANKS !!
The spinach was
TERRIFIC!!!!!
Holy Yummy! This was
such a great last minute addition to our steak and wild rice
dinner. I made some modifications due to what I had and it still
was awesome! I used whole wheat flour, fat free half and half and
instead of frozen I used fresh spinach which was outrageous! I
will certainly use this again, and again, and again....! Thanks
for the recipe!!!!
Loved it! Thank you so
much for this great recipe! I accidently left out the garlic, but
it was still great. Can't wait to try it again with the garlic!
This was delicious! We
had it with our Thanksgiving meal & then again with our Christmas
Dinner. I did use reg. cream cheese but used whole milk instead of
Half & Half the second time. I did not use the Nutmeg, but maybe
next time. I also was lacking time, so I used 1 Tbls. Tastefully
Simple, Onion Onion in place of the minced onion. It has now
become part of our family recipe book!
It was excellent and so
easy! I never realized nutmeg was in creamed spinach until I made
this receipe and now I realize it is that very seasoning that
makes it taste so good. Jonathan
I made this for
Christmas, added some bacon with the onion when I sauteed and then
added a little asiago grated at the end. It was sooo good.
Everyone raved about it.
It is definately a new
favorite!!!
Made this for Christmas
Eve dinner and wow, was it good. I found the recipe today and
figured we'd like it based on ingredients, and yup, we did!! It
was absolutely delicious and will probably be part of our
Christmas Eve dinner from now on. Thanks for sharing!!
This is absolutely
amazing! It is in very high demand at all of my family functions
and will remain my secret recipe. I would like to say that I stuck
with the original one you had posted here and added mozzerella and
make a kick ass pizza
Hi! I make this recipe
EVERY year and each year I get requests for it! This year it was
not only requestedfor our family but for the inlaws too.
This is absolutely the
best recipe for creamed spinach. It taste exactly like the one I
usually get at Boston Market, but better. In all this recipe was
what I was looking for. I just added a sprinkle more of salt and
black pepper.
